Avalon at Fairway Hills

I have truly enjoyed living at Avalon at Fairway Hills. The consistent and exceptional service I have received from both the office staff and maintenance team is something that deserves recognition. Whenever I have had a concern or request they have always been prompt and efficient in their response. It’s reassuring to know that a problem I encounter no matter how small or big will be taken care of seriously, quickly and effectively. I want to give a huge shoutout to Chakeem from the office staff and Melvin from the maintenance team for working together and going above and beyond!

Maintenance is extremely responsive and quick. Fastest maintenance responses I've ever seen and I've been renting various apartments for several years now. Leases are expensive. They keep adding "amenities" no one asked for and I know it's to justify increasing the rent at the end of the year. I like this place but I can't afford this anymore. They've been increasing my rent $100 each year. It's not worth the price. I lease a 2 bed 1.5 bath and the new price in the lease renewal offer they sent me is charging $2137. That's absolutely insane. This is not a luxury apartment but they are charging luxury apartment prices. UPDATE: I see they responded to this review by pretending like charging $2137 isn't an objectively ludicrous price to demand for a standard 1049 sq. ft. apartment with no parking garage, trash pick up, or any luxury amenities that could possibly attempt to justify that price. This place doesn't even come with a damn microwave. I don't think anyone reasonable could possibly "feel that the pricing is in line with what Avalon offers."

I enjoy being a resident here and appreciate the quality of service provided in a timely manner when it comes to maintenance requests. I had an emergency request for my heat not working after the Google Nest was installed and I received attention to my problem by Mr. Melvin Spriggs. He communicated through the Resident app and arrived the same day to address my concerns. He is always very pleasant and knowledgeable about the work he does in our community. After accessing the problem he informed me he would have to return the next morning to finish out the process. He returned as mentioned and everything was fixed in no time. I appreciate the comfort of knowing that as a resident here my concerns are important and treated with the quality of service that I received from Mr. Melvin.

I love my apt at Fairway Hills Avalon. It’s been renovated so it’s fresh and clean, I have a golf course view, I feel safe in the parking lot at night, lots of walking paths and lakes to walk after work. But most importantly the maintenance staff is so quick to respond! It’s remarkable! The only reason for 4 stars instead of five is the ceiling is thin and I can hear my upstairs neighbor whenever she moves around.

Thank you so much to Melvin, Devon, & Kelmith for fixing my garbage disposal. Special shoutout to Melvin for fixing the other issues I have had over the past few years. I really appreciate it. There are many other teams members I would like to mention who have helped me in the past - but I can't remember all of their names. So instead I would just like to say that the entire Avalon maintenance team is amazing! If I ever have an issue, I know that they will always be available to solve it!
